I'm Daphne and my Institute has come about not by design, but by accident!

A friend of mine had asked a favour off me - he wanted me to teach his son English. I obliged and that started the ball rolling.

That child brought in a couple of his friends, and to my surprise I found that though they were all equipped with either a Bachelor's or Master's degree, they were unable to secure jobs - the reason being that they couldn't speak English - leave alone fluently- but for nuts!!!!!!

I understood that they were all from the rural areas and had completed their Secondary schooling - and a few of them their degrees - in the vernacular. My heart went out to these children and I decided to make them employable.

My second language was Tamil and it was honed during my 40 years of government service. Thus, I made light work of going through the nuances of English grammar with these children. They were tickled pink to think that I could read and write Tamil!! And by jove, didn't I enjoy it!!!

Their encourgement emboldened me to take up coaching for TNPSC, BSRB, IELTS and TOEFL.
